Restoring The Lost

The first time I prayed I mean got down on my knees and prayed cried out and let the Holy Sprit talk to God for me I heard the voice of the spirit telling me that it is time to restore all that has been lost. Its time for a family reunion but not just my family every family and every friend any and every thing that the devil stole from us its time to restore. In respect to the New Year and the up and coming Mothers Day lets start there first there is nothing that takes a chunk out of the heart like the loss of a mother. Because a mother's love is suppose to last and be UN conditional but yet so many daughters and son's are lost.

I have personally found that holding on to heart ache and grudges can destroy ones soul. It could some how be easy if you could be mad or hold that anger and it didn't begin to affect you are hurt you inside but it does God made it that way because he instilled and taught us how to forgive but yet in the world we live in forgiveness is not apart of us. Have you ever stop and asked your self why that is? I received a very beautiful revelation one day that begin to ease the pain that I had been holding on to for so many years. I begin to find my self trying to reach out and restore the bond between my mother and me and it wasn't until then that I realized that I had passed on that same distance that was between me and my mother I also had between me and my own kids. Many choose not to accept that DNA plays a very important part in your life but the traits and things that we learn growing up really do affect the out come of our life. As I begin to put back and restore the relationship with my kids I begin to explain to them that it's because of my childhood and past experiences in my life that I am distant not just from them but other people as well. Truth is about to be told so some may have to really hold on tight through this testimony be honest about the situations and begin to restore your self from the hurt shame and pain because then and only then we can truly be restored. You indeed have to go back face the demons of your pass and move on.

Old folks would say them skeletons in the closet but I have found if you keep putting more in the closet the closet doesn't get any bigger so they begin to pile up and soon over flow and come out. And by us learning this many of us started storing up our anger pain and heartaches leaving them locked up inside of us. So many people I fill or like me and maybe your at this point in life now you have so much locked up inside of you already that you fill that if one more not two or three but only one more little thing comes up you’re going to break. I have tried all types of methods over the years from psychiatrics, drugs, and even many attempts at suicide. I tried reaching out to other people but nothing that I tried or did over the years help ease the pain or even reduced the skeletons that hunted me and over took my life. But the love grace and mercy of God because only God can heal and restore the pain.

Many of us have experience abuse sexual, psychically mentally and emotionally and had accepted the patterns and behavior as a way of life and in many situations the skeletons have flowed right out of our closet into our kid’s closet because we knew in our hearts that it was not right but afraid to say something or do something. So now is the time to stand up for change for the future generation of our kids and grand kids. I thank God for the courage of the first child in every family that took that stand and said no more and decided to tell someone what our mothers and grand mothers didn't. We are living in a nation were we sit and wonder why when we hear of cases in the news of sexual and psychical abuse we begin to worry about our homes our kids it has been a silent killer in generations for years. It is something that is not just getting started it has become something that we must over come. You ask in some cases where the mothers knows about what's going on and they hide and try to comfort the child many times it is because they where abused them selves and felt growing up that this was a way of life and in cases where the mothers sit in denial many times it is because their mothers denied them and covered for their abuser.

You have to realize that we were taught growing up the things that we learned we learned them by what we seen growing up. You wonder sometimes were men get their bad qualities from. Why they hit women why they use drugs or drink? We wonder why women accept abuse drink or use drugs? The generations have not changed they have only added more things. Our sons and daughters are drug users or alcoholics. Many of our sons and daughters decided not to be the user because of the childhood struggle of seeing mom or dad on drugs or their mothers and fathers were alcoholics. Growing up in the home with no money or food they had to live with out proper utilities and the things in life that as children we needed but understood it was because of our parent’s addictions that we did not have it. So many of those children grew up with the dream of hustling and taking chances on going to jail or even being killed because to them any thing is better then going through the same poverty that they experience as a child and decided to be the drug seller. Different girl friends or women or many men or boy friends calling on the phone or coming by because his father or mother was a player that told that son or daughter at a young age you all ways keep a spare tire.

Instead of teaching them that sex is something you save until you’re married but before they can talk or teach about it they must first set the example which is why many parents are not teaching and instilling morals and values in their children. Why have women and young ladies men and young men have turned to drinking and drugs. Young girls have no respect for themselves different boys many become pregnant at the same age as their mother's. Young men have no respect for themselves they are having children at the same age as their father's. Just because our mothers where stay at home moms because back then the men worked and paid the bills don't mean that we as women are to sit at home and depend on the government to take care of us. I here mothers telling their daughters that a man needs to be putting some money in your pocket if you're lying down with him. And we are wondering why so many young girls and women are on the streets turning tricks. Generational teaching have come back to hurt us in ways we never even realized. I give much love to the men and young men that are out there taking care of there kids.

To the men that are not you need to check your self because no one can teach your children how to be a better person but you. In cases where the man has left his child is because many times he was left. It does not take money to raise a child it takes money to take care of the child. If you can’t take care of them at least raise them not to make the same mistakes in life that you did have enough love about your self not to let your children go through the same things in life that you have endured. Lady's it's hard to try an raise a man and because that man left you how dare you try to keep the children away from them check your self we are having a hard enough time trying to raise our daughters . And if you’re right now seeing your daughter going down that same road that you went down its time for you to really wake up.

Because as a women and a mother of three sons and one daughter I refuse to let my kids go through the same things in life that I had to endure something inside of you should be clicking and if you have been through the things in life that I have some tears should be failing as much as a mother or father loves their children can you stop right now think back and honestly say that you want your children or grand children to go through that? If your at this point in life with your children or your family is at this point its time this year to sit down talk it out fight it out but let it out from the heart I remember watching Soul Food a few days ago and I cried because can you think back and remember the times when your home or your family was all together loving and supporting one another having a good time. These days somebody is mad at someone else or this person doesn't like this person. The lost of the grand mother or mother or a family member and the family just fell apart. Its time to restore all that is lost and that this world has stole from us. God is saying that its time to forgive and heal the broken pieces of a family and put it back together again Yes even the drug addict the drinker the one that's on the streets the one that's distant from the family and even the friends because a lot of good friendships have ended over misunderstanding.

It's time to forgive and restore and the reason that I am telling you this is because you can not ask for are expect the forgiveness and love of God. If you can not forgive and love there is no but if in this people no matter what its time to let go get it out and forgive and restore. And for those of you that are really having a hard time with this I want to leave you with this when Jesus comes back for his people will you still be here because if you can't forgive and restore them how do you want and believe that God has forgiven and restored you. Something should have hit your heart last year that should have already set the spirit for this letter. In Jesus death was a message that many people have over looked their or many that are focus on the fact that he got up but have over looked the reason that he laid down in the first place. And that was to forgive us of all of our sins so that we may have the chance for life ever lasting. Jesus words forgive them Father for they know not what they do. So we no longer have or can use that excuse because Jesus told us his self in his Gospel.

We are praying and waiting on God to change and heal the world and God is waiting on us he said in his word that (If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and turn from there wicked ways then shall I hear from heaven and heal there lands). Notice how it says if my people that means those of us that say that we are Christians and believers of his word he’s talking to us not the world. If we can restore us God has the power to restore the world. How long can we go on disrespecting the memory of Jesus and all that he came and died for? There was so much controversy over the movie Passion of the Christ because of its violent nature but we watch scary movies and our kids have games with sometimes more violence and it’s ok it's a shame how we as people can lift up the world but frown on any things that lifts up Jesus
(example) There was a group of people having a conversation about the things of the world and I begin to talked to them about there salvation first thing someone said to me was their you go preaching save that for Sunday but people Sunday should not be the only day that we as God's children should be able to lift him up. God created 7 days and yet we only want to talk about him or acknowledge him on one day Sunday. But we have been taught of the love of Jesus and we still have no forgiveness and love and compassion for one another but to see the pain and the amount of suffering of Jesus. Who did no wrong and was perfect die and suffer pain hurt and shame for us the same abuse that we have suffered through out living our lives in this world at one point or another and he still had forgiveness yet he did no wrong but look at your self see all the wrong that you have done through out living your life and yet we hold grudges pain and anger towards one another not just strangers our own family members. I went down to the gates of hell on told the devil that it was time for him to let my people go and he laughed and said to me I have no more power over your people it is your people that has not freed and refuse to let go of their sins and release them selves.
